Community Input Summary Report

Comments from the Round 1 public outreach process have been summarized in The Community Input Summary Report produced in December of 2007 and is available here for you to review.

This document summarizes the results of a public outreach effort begun in the spring of 2007 by the City of Santa Barbara that extended to August 31st. This effort utilized a variety of outreach strategies, including community workshops, grassroots meetings, a website and comment forms, each of which provided opportunities for community feedback on the hopes and concerns related to the Plan Santa Barbara process. This report also identifies key issues and ideas expressed by residents through each of the outreach methods. The appendix document includes summaries of the workshops, grassroot meetings and comment forms received.  Hard copies of the documents can be viewed at the Eastside Library, Main Branch Library, Planning Division 630 Garden Street and at the City Clerk's Office, City Hall.
